Apple moon is a term my then 3-year old boy coined when he saw the Apple computer icon glowing on the back of my laptop. I was about to correct him but then looked at it and thought -- uh yeah, it does look like an apple moon. Now I'm constantly searching the night sky for the perfect moon phase which best captures my son's imagination. One of the most beautiful things about parenting is seeing the world through a child's eyes. My hope is that apple moon will illuminate and inspire me to always be open to fresh and creative perspectives; to pause when life becomes so frenzied and to be present in this world long enough to enjoy what we have in the moment.
